I have always appreciated art and have over 30 years photographic experience, starting at the tender age of 7 with a brownie camera. I find abstract art an excellent medium to express emotions, develop new ideas and to be influenced by powerful, dramatic images.  I am interested in how new technologies can be applied to create different Art forms and the way in which colour can transcend an image and evoke alternative emotions. More recently, I enjoy creating unusual images using subtle shades of skin tones and light contrasted with vibrant colours.

I started to produce abstracts in about 2002, just enjoying the process as a cathartic experience and producing them for my own pleasure.  It was not until 2006 that I happened to show some to family and friends and I was astonished by everyone’s positive response.  This spurred me on to show some of my pieces to professional Artists and things have grown from there with their encouragement.  Since then I have displayed my work in public and private galleries and exhibitions.
